BLP Beauty — short for "By Lizzie Parra" — is an Indonesian makeup brand founded in 2016 by professional makeup artist Lizzie Parra, who built the label around the products she reached for most often on set. Launching at a moment when Indonesian consumers were still defaulting to imported Western and Korean cosmetics, BLP made the case that a homegrown brand could match them on formula, packaging and shade logic while being built specifically for Indonesian skin tones and the country's hot, humid climate.

The brand's reputation rests on its lip products above all: the Lip Coat liquid lipsticks became a genuine cult item among Indonesian Gen Z and millennial buyers, joined over time by highly pigmented eyeshadows, face base and cheek products. BLP helped kick off the wave of Indonesian indie beauty brands that reshaped the local market in the late 2010s, and it remains one of the most recognizable names in Southeast Asian color cosmetics.
