Revlon is a budget makeup brand from the United States, founded in 1932 by Charles & Joseph Revson with Charles Lachman. It's best known for its Super Lustrous Lipstick, ColorStay Foundation and Balm Stain.

Revlon was founded in 1932 by Charles Revson, his brother Joseph, and chemist Charles Lachman — the three letters of their names making up the brand's name — with a single product, a long-wearing opaque nail enamel that broke the industry-standard transparent formulas of the era. The line expanded into lipstick (Fire and Ice in 1952 was a generational ad campaign moment), foundation, and the long-running Super Lustrous lipstick franchise that anchored Revlon's American drugstore identity for decades.

The company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2022, emerged in 2023 under new ownership, and has since been rebuilding its product pipeline — the ColorStay foundation, ColorStay Overtime lipstick, and Super Lustrous lipstick franchise remain the most-recognized lines. Revlon is widely cited as a drugstore alternative for prestige lipsticks (MAC Ruby Woo dupes), foundation (NARS Sheer Glow), and lip stains (Clinique Black Honey). Distributed across CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Target, Amazon, and most US drugstores.
