Not Beauty is a vegan, cruelty-free makeup brand founded in 2025 by Grammy-winning musician SZA. Conceived as her personal answer to products she couldn't find, the brand launched with a lip collection debuting at pop-up activations along her Grand National Tour with Kendrick Lamar before wider release.
The line opened with three hydrating, non-sticky lip glosses — In the Flesh, Strawberry Jelly, and Quartz — priced at $23, with lip stains, lip liners, and lip creams following. Not Beauty leans into nature-inspired packaging featuring wood textures, plants, and insects, and positions itself around function and personal need rather than celebrity spectacle, joining the crowded but influential field of artist- and celebrity-founded lip brands.
