Rhode is a mid range makeup brand from the United States, founded in 2022 by Hailey Bieber. It's best known for its Peptide Lip Tint, Peptide Lip Treatment and Peptide Glazing Fluid. I've tested its products on camera in 1 video, and found affordable dupes for 1 of them, saving up to $10.

Rhode launched in June 2022 from Hailey Bieber, built around the 'glazed donut' skin aesthetic she had spent years popularizing through her own Instagram and TikTok content. The first launch was three SKUs — Peptide Glazing Fluid, Peptide Lip Treatment, and Barrier Restore Cream — sold direct-to-consumer only, and the brand operated DTC-only for three years before expanding into Sephora in September 2025.
In May 2025, e.l.f. Beauty acquired Rhode for $1 billion in cash-and-stock, and under e.l.f. the brand has scaled its color cosmetics push — the Pocket Blush, Peptide Lip Tint, and Peptide Lip Shape lip liner now make Rhode a serious makeup brand on top of its skincare DNA. The 'healthy skin' philosophy, premium-leaning mid-range pricing, and Bieber's personal involvement in product design make Rhode one of the defining celebrity-founded beauty brands of the decade.
