Necromancy Cosmetica

Necromancy Cosmetica is a dark, avant-garde indie makeup brand handcrafted in Río Piedras, Puerto Rico since 2015. Started by couple Desiree "Des" Rodríguez and Salvador "Zal" Pérez, the brand draws on the mystical and eerie, building a devoted global following of alt-beauty fans who want colors and finishes the mass market ignores.

Des and Zal make their products in small batches, and the range centers on highly pigmented, non-drying soft-matte bullet lipsticks — 32 shades strong — alongside a curated mix of 16 eyeshadows and loose pigments, all vegan and cruelty-free. Despite its tiny two-person operation, Necromancy has grown to more than 100,000 Instagram followers and ships to over 50 countries, and the founders channel proceeds into their community through the "Cats of Necromancy" trap-neuter-release project in Puerto Rico.
