Golden Rose was founded in 1983 by the Erkul family, who moved from haberdashery in Gaziantep into cosmetics and built one of the world's largest nail lacquer operations. The company, Erkul Kozmetik, runs integrated production across roughly 100,000 square metres, making its own plastic packaging and fragrance components in-house, and has been named Turkey's leading cosmetics exporter more than a dozen times.
What that scale buys the customer is shade count. Rich Color Nail Lacquer alone spans 95 shades, and the Longstay Liquid Matte Lipstick range is similarly sprawling — all at prices that undercut most Western drugstore brands. Golden Rose exports to more than ninety countries and is a default affordable brand across Eastern Europe, the Balkans, the Middle East and the CIS, where it often occupies the shelf space a Maybelline or Rimmel holds elsewhere.
