   Luminous base

   Step 1 of 6

   Apply a satin-finish foundation for a polished but not flat base. The skin should glow against the dark tones. Conceal under eyes and set with minimal powder — only the T-zone if needed.

   Tip: A cream highlighter on the cheekbones before foundation gives a lit-from-within effect.

   Cranberry eyes

   Step 2 of 6

   Prime lids, then apply a warm transition shade (peach or soft brown) in the crease. Pack a deep cranberry or burgundy matte shade onto the lid and outer V. Blend the edges thoroughly into the transition shade.

   Add shimmer and depth

   Press a cranberry or copper shimmer onto the center of the lid for dimension. Add a deeper wine shade to the outer corner and lower lash line. A highlight shimmer in the inner corner opens the eye.

   Tip: Use your finger to press shimmer onto the center lid — it packs on more pigment than a brush.

   Smudged liner and mascara

   Line the upper lash line with a dark brown or burgundy liner and smudge with a small brush. Tightline the upper waterline. Apply two coats of volumizing mascara.

   Berry blush and contour

   Apply a berry or plum-toned blush high on the cheekbones. Keep it subtle — the eyes and lips are the stars. A light contour under the cheekbones adds structure.

   Wine lip

   Step 6 of 6Almost done!

   Line lips with a deep berry or wine lip liner, slightly overlining the cupid's bow for fullness. Fill in with a cranberry or wine lipstick — matte or satin. Blot once and reapply for lasting color.
