Polite Society is a mid range makeup brand from the United States, founded in 2023 by Jerrod Blandino & Jeremy Johnson. It's best known for its Greatest Lashes of All Time Mascara, B.I.G. Mouth Lip Plumping Oil Gloss and More Than a Pretty Face Foundation.
Polite Society launched at Ulta Beauty on August 27, 2023, founded by Jerrod Blandino and Jeremy Johnson — the same duo behind Too Faced Cosmetics, which they sold to Estée Lauder in 2016 for $1.45 billion. Polite Society is their post-Too Faced act, positioned as "clean glam": vegan and clean-beauty-compliant formulas with the same color-saturated, big-personality aesthetic that defined Too Faced's Better Than Sex mascara and Chocolate Bar palettes.
Launching with 13 SKUs across complexion, lip, and eye, the brand expanded to nearly 1,200 Ulta doors within two years — a pace faster than Too Faced's entire first decade. Hero products include the Greatest Lashes of All Time Mascara, B.I.G. Mouth Lip Plumping Oil Gloss, and More Than a Pretty Face Foundation. International expansion through Mecca (Australia), Blush Bar (Latin America), and 26 new product launches planned for 2026 mark Polite Society as one of the fastest-scaling clean color cosmetics brands of the decade.
