Mid-Range“Artist-made color, built for every eye.”

Persona Cosmetics is a mid range makeup brand from the United States, founded in 2016 by Sona Gasparian & Kasra Borojerdi. It's best known for its Identity Eyeshadow Palette for brown eyes, Buttery, pigment-dense eyeshadows and Artist- and YouTube-educator-founded.
Persona Cosmetics was founded in 2016 by makeup artist and YouTube educator Sona Gasparian and her husband Kasra Borojerdi, a former aerospace engineer, who poured roughly $60,000 of their house savings into developing a single product. That product was the Identity Eyeshadow Palette, a 12-shade matte-and-shimmer edit designed specifically to flatter brown eyes — a corner of the market big brands had largely ignored. It struck a nerve, and within a year Ulta Beauty placed an order for 25,000 units.
The brand stayed deliberately bootstrapped and online-only for years, building a loyal following on the strength of Gasparian's tutorials and buttery, pigment-dense formulas before finally rolling into Ulta stores nationwide. Persona now spans eyeshadow palettes, lip and face products, and its artist-driven, pro-quality-for-less positioning has made its palettes a recurring point of comparison for shoppers chasing high-end color payoff on an indie budget.
