Mooncat is a mid range makeup brand from the United States, founded in 2020 by Michelle Lin. It's best known for its Ultra-glossy, highly pigmented nail lacquers, Multichrome and holographic finishes and Jelly and crelly formulas.
Mooncat is an American nail-polish brand led by founder and CEO Michelle Lin, who immigrated from Taiwan to build the business and manufactures the line in the USA. Grown out of the earlier Live Love Polish community and relaunched under the Mooncat name in 2023, the brand turned a devoted online nail following into one of the most talked-about indie polish labels of the mid-2020s, going viral repeatedly on TikTok for its packaging and shade drops.
The brand is best known for its ultra-glossy, highly saturated lacquers — from complex multichrome and holographic finishes to creamy jelly and crelly formulas — housed in a distinctive crescent-topped bottle.
