Lashify was founded in 2016 by Sahara Lotti, a screenwriter turned beauty entrepreneur who self-funded the company to solve her own problem: wanting lash-extension results without the salon, the cost or the damage. She built the first at-home DIY lash extension system around patented Underlash technology, where the lash is applied beneath the natural lashes rather than on top of the lid.
