Kjaer Weis is a luxury makeup brand from the United States, founded in 2010 by Kirsten Kjaer Weis. It's best known for its Pioneering refillable prestige-makeup packaging, Certified-organic, high-performance formulas and Cream Blush and The Foundation.
Kjaer Weis (pronounced "care vice") is a luxury clean-beauty house founded in 2010 by Danish-born, New York-based makeup artist Kirsten Kjaer Weis. After years working on professional sets, she set out to prove that a formula could be genuinely high-performance and free of synthetic ingredients at the same time — a rare claim in prestige makeup at the time. The result was a certified-organic color line that helped define the modern clean-luxury category.
The brand is best known for pioneering refillable packaging in prestige beauty: its heavyweight, architecturally styled metal compacts are designed to be kept for life, with color pans that slide out and refill at a lower price and with far less waste. Hero products like the Cream Blush, Lip Tint and Invisible Touch Foundation are stocked at retailers including Bluemercury, Credo and Net-a-Porter, and remain reference points whenever people talk about sustainable, refillable makeup.
