Jecca Blac is a UK makeup brand founded by makeup artist Jessica Blackler, who began the project as Jecca in 2014 after clients — including trans women she worked with — struggled to find products and language that felt made for them. Rebranded as Jecca Blac and incubated through L'Oréal's open-innovation program, it became one of the first beauty labels to explicitly market gender-free, inclusive color cosmetics.
The brand's breakthrough was the Correct & Conceal Palette, positioned as the industry's first concealer designed to cover beard shadow alongside blemishes and redness, followed by the Sculpt and Soften Palette for contouring and softening facial features.
