La Beauté Louis Vuitton is a luxury makeup brand from France, founded in 2025 by Pat McGrath (Creative Director, Cosmetics). It's best known for its 55-shade lipstick collection, Refillable luxury packaging and Pat McGrath-led formulations.
La Beauté Louis Vuitton launched globally on August 29, 2025 as Louis Vuitton's first dedicated beauty line, with makeup legend Dame Pat McGrath appointed Creative Director, Cosmetics — a first-of-its-kind role that signals the seriousness of the project. The debut collection includes 55 lipstick shades (27 creamy, 28 matte), ten lip balms, and eight refillable eyeshadow palettes, with cases designed by industrial designer Konstantin Grcic and an olfactory signature created by LV Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud. The number 55 is a deliberate nod to LV in Roman numerals.
Positioned at the very top of the luxury makeup market, the line is priced at $160 for lipsticks and lip balms (with refills from $69) and around $250 for eyeshadow palettes. The lipsticks are made with upcycled rose, jasmine, and mimosa waxes alongside shea butter and hyaluronic acid, and every casing is engineered to be refillable. La Beauté Louis Vuitton is built less as a product launch and more as a permanent métier within the house — a counterpart to leather goods and fragrance rather than a fashion-house side project.
