Fujiko is a budget makeup brand from Japan, founded in 2016 by Kanalabo. It's best known for its Mayu Tint peel-off eyebrow tint, Long-wear brows lasting up to three days and Repeat @cosme Best Cosmetics Award winner.
Fujiko is a Japanese beauty brand launched in 2016 by Kanalabo, a startup famously run by a team of around eight people. Rather than building a full cosmetics wardrobe, Fujiko takes a problem-solving approach: each product targets a specific everyday frustration, and the formula is engineered around that single job. The best-known example is the Mayu Tint, a peel-off eyebrow tint that stains the skin so brows survive sweat, water and sebum for up to three days — it won the top eyebrow award at the @cosme Best Cosmetics Awards and passed 1.5 million units sold.
That focus has made Fujiko a repeat fixture at Japan's @cosme awards, with the Multi Easy Palette and Deco Shadow by.F both taking first place in their categories at the 2026 mid-year Best Cosmetics Awards. Priced in the accessible Japanese drugstore tier, the brand has also become a cross-border e-commerce success — particularly in China — and reaches international buyers through Japanese-beauty retailers, making it one of the more reliably recommended J-beauty makeup names outside Japan.
