Burberry Beauty is a luxury makeup brand from the United Kingdom, founded in 2010 by Burberry (relaunched 2023). It's best known for its Burberry Kisses lipsticks, Liquid Lip Velvet and Beyond Wear Matte Foundation.
Burberry first entered makeup in 2010 under Christopher Bailey, then stepped back before relaunching its beauty line in November 2023 with a bespoke boutique at Selfridges in London. The reboot leaned into British sensibility and weatherproofing wit: complexion products carry a Trench Protect Technology said to shield makeup from rain, humidity and heat, a nod to the house's iconic trench coat.
The relaunch centred on wearable staples rather than spectacle, the Beyond Wear Perfecting Matte Foundation, the Burberry Kisses lipsticks in tube and liquid formulas, and the full-coverage Liquid Lip Velvet in 14 shades. Sitting in the luxury tier alongside other designer houses, Burberry Beauty is known for refined neutrals and check-embossed bullets that make its lipsticks and glosses frequent targets for more affordable comparisons.
