Top 10 Makeup Advent Calendars 2026, In My Opinion

By Viktoria @vioda.makeup ·

Ranked by worth — the retailer's own valuation of the contents against the price on the box — and only from brands people actually search for. The full door-by-door lists are on advent.center, where I curate the beauty shelf.

The ten beauty advent calendars I'd actually buy this year, ranked by what's inside against what they cost — from the Douglas box worth 5.6× its price to the NYX Bling Box. With the full contents of each on advent.center.

How I ranked them

Two rules, and then my opinion. First, worth: every calendar on this list has a retailer valuation of its contents, and I've ranked them by that number against the price on the box. A calendar worth three times what it costs is a different purchase from one worth 1.5×, whatever the packaging. Second, brands: only the ones people actually look for — the retailers and houses whose calendar pages draw searches — because a great box from a brand nobody knows is a gamble I can't make for you.

The door-by-door contents, prices in every market and the retailer's own worth figure for every one of these is on advent.center's makeup calendar shelf, where I curate the beauty side. Each entry below links to its page there. Where a product behind a door is one I've filmed, that page links back to my review of it.

All figures are the retailer's, as of this week; a worth is a list-price sum, not what you'd pay for the minis separately. Prices are in the currency the box is sold in.

1. Douglas Exclusive Beauty Highlights 2026 — 5.6× its price

Douglas Exclusive Beauty Highlights 2026 is the value pick of the year and it isn't close: 79.99 EUR for 24 items from 22 makers that Douglas valued at 450 EUR. Five are full size. The guest list is the chain's own shelf — MAC, Estée Lauder, Clinique, Physicians Formula, Sol de Janeiro, Babor, Real Techniques — which is exactly the mix a makeup-first person wants: something to swatch every day, not a run of hand creams. If you buy one calendar in the eurozone this year, it's this one.

2. Vogue Festive 2026 — 4.7×

Vogue Festive 2026 is 355 GBP with nothing but full sizes behind its 25 doors — valued at 1,680 GBP, and chosen by British Vogue's editors rather than a buying team. Kevyn Aucoin, Lisa Eldridge, Charlotte Tilbury, Ilia and Laneige on the makeup side, with skincare and a Longchamp purse in between. It's a lot of money for a calendar, and it's also the box I'd want to open on the first of December. The full-size rule is what makes the worth honest: nothing in here is a sachet.

3. Cult Beauty Signature Edition 2026 — 4.5×

Cult Beauty Signature Edition 2026 costs 245 GBP for 33 items, 19 of them full size, valued at 1,105 GBP. Cult Beauty sells two calendars at that price this year; the Signature is the one to get if you want products over packaging, and Cult's list is the one I'd trust most for shades I'd actually wear. Last year's editions had Charlotte Tilbury's Beauty Light Wand, Huda Beauty's Faux Filler gloss and Summer Fridays behind their doors, and the 2026 list is built the same way.

4. Sephora Favorites USA 2026 — 3.7×

Sephora Favorites USA 25 Days of Beauty Must Haves 2026 is the US edition — a different calendar from the European one, with 25 doors, an online-only release and 25 brands: Charlotte Tilbury, Fenty Beauty, Armani Beauty, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Benefit, Glossier, Haus Labs, Tarte, YSL. 105 USD for a 393 USD valuation. Only three items are full size, which is why it sits below the European box for me, but as a sampler of exactly the brands whose dupes I test, it is the best-targeted calendar on this list.

5. ASOS Face + Body 2026 — 3.7×

ASOS Face + Body 2026 is 98 GBP for 25 products in a zebra-print box that ASOS values at 360 GBP, and the list backs the headline names: Charlotte Tilbury's Beauty Light Wand, Benefit, KIKO, e.l.f., Gisou, NUXE, Sol de Janeiro. Fifteen full sizes by ASOS's count. It's the calendar I'd recommend to someone who wants a real mix of makeup, skin and hair without paying Vogue money, and the one most likely to sell out early.

6. Sephora Favorites EU 2026 — 3.5×

Sephora Favorites EU 2026 is Sephora Europe's flagship: 169 EUR, 24 doors, 14 of them full size, valued at 586 EUR. The guest brands are the ones Sephora has pushed all year — Merit, Makeup By Mario, One/Size, Rare Beauty, Huda Beauty, Glow Recipe, Laneige, Drunk Elephant. Fourteen full sizes at that price is the best full-size ratio of the Sephora boxes, and the reason I'd take it over the US edition if you can buy either.

7. Sukoshi 2026 — 2.9×

Sukoshi 2026 is 24 days of Korean and Japanese beauty from the Canadian retailer, 199 USD for 28 items valued at 580 USD — and every single one is full size. No deluxe samples, no sachets. Cosnori, Laka, Isntree, House of HUR, iUNIK, haruharu wonder, Dr. Ceuracle. If your routine leans K-beauty, or you've watched me try YesStyle hauls and wanted the products at full size, this is the one.

8. Lancôme Palace 2026 — 2.0×

Lancôme Palace 2026 is a pink Parisian palace drawn by Octave Marsal with 24 rooms behind its doors: 260 GBP, valued at 520 GBP, eight full-size products and sixteen travel sizes across skincare, makeup and fragrance. The full sizes are the reason to buy — Lancôme's mascara and foundation are two of the products I'm asked for dupes of most — and the box itself is the one on this list people keep.

9. Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Beauty Wonderland 2026 — 1.8×

Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Beauty Wonderland 2026 is twelve jewel-handled drawers, 15 items, six of them full size, 220 USD for a 400 USD valuation. The worth multiple is the lowest of the big houses here, and it's still on my list because it's the single-brand box I'd wear every day: Matte Revolution in Pillow Talk Medium is behind one of the doors, and that lipstick is on my product page with the video. Buy it for the drawers and the Pillow Talk, not for the arithmetic.

10. NYX Bling Box 2026 — 1.7×

NYX Bling Box 2026 is a jewellery box of 24 doors with a full-size NYX product behind every one — the viral lip glosses and shadows down to the face and eye staples, with pieces made for the calendar among them. 110 USD, valued at 190 USD. The multiple is modest because NYX is already cheap; what you're buying is 24 full-size products from the brand that is the top pick on 16 of my dupe pages, second only to e.l.f.. For a drugstore-first person it's the most useful box here.

What I'd skip, and why

Anything without a stated worth, because a retailer that won't put a number on the contents usually has a reason. Anything where 'beauty' means bath bombs and hand creams with one lip balm as the makeup. And the own-brand tiers of the big chains unless the box itself is the point — they are fine, they are just not the best value on the same shelf.

The full makeup calendar shelf on advent.center has every one of these with the door-by-door list, the price in each country it's sold, and the worth figure I ranked by, plus the Advent Index for the whole season measured. And if a product behind a door is one you're considering full size, my Dupes Index says what the tested alternative saves.
