What Is Soap Brows?

Soap brows is a technique where clear soap (often applied with a spoolie) is used to shape and set brows so they look fluffy, full, and brushed upward—key to the clean girl and fox eye looks.

Soap brows create a laminated, full effect without heavy product. A bar of clear soap is wetted and brushed through the brows, then brows are set in place. It's an alternative to brow gel and gives a fluffy, natural look. It can be drying for some, so conditioning is important.

Tips

  • Use a clear, glycerin-based soap and a spoolie.
  • Brush upward and set; you can add a second pass for hold.
  • If soap is too stiff, try a dedicated brow soap or brow gel.
