Comparison notes
Saie's gel gives a natural dew. e.l.f. Halo Glow is a popular dupe.
Full comparison
Saie Glowy Super Gel is one of my favorite liquid highlighters because it gives that real-skin, lit-from-within glow without any visible glitter or shimmer particles. The gel-cream texture melts into skin and layers beautifully over or under foundation. e.l.f. Halo Glow is the most popular dupe and honestly delivers a very similar dewy finish—the main difference is that e.l.f. has a slightly more noticeable shimmer and a thinner consistency. Saie's formula feels more like skincare on the skin and blends a bit more seamlessly. For the price difference, though, e.l.f. Halo Glow is an incredible value and most people won't notice the subtlety gap in photos or real life.
Longevity
Saie Glowy Super Gel maintains its dewy finish for 5–7 hours before it starts to meld fully into the skin. e.l.f. Halo Glow lasts about 4–5 hours, with the shimmer particles staying visible even as the base fades. Both work best applied with fingers and set lightly if you have oily skin.
