"The viral e.l.f. product lives up to the hype. Same luminous skin effect without the luxury price. Add your own SPF underneath."
My verdict
e.l.f. Halo Glow Liquid Filter is a remarkably close alternative to the ILIA Super Serum Skin Tint. Both create a luminous, skin-like finish with light coverage that looks like healthy, glowing skin. The ILIA has SPF 40 built in and a more serum-like texture with active skincare ingredients. The e.l.f. is more of a luminous filter/primer that evens tone and adds glow. For the dewy, lit-from-within effect alone, the e.l.f. at $14 is a fantastic save—just add your own SPF underneath.
