Ellis Faas is a premium makeup brand from the Netherlands, founded in 2009 by Ellis Faas. It's best known for its Signature silver click-and-brush pen packaging, Human Colours concept rooted in the body and All-liquid, multi-use makeup formulas.

Ellis Faas is a Dutch cosmetics house launched in 2009 by its namesake founder, a makeup artist Vogue Paris called one of the most influential of her generation. After years working alongside photographers like Mario Testino and on Karl Lagerfeld's Chanel and Fendi runway shows, Faas ended her contract with L'Oréal and created a line built entirely around her own philosophy of color, packaged in the instantly recognizable silver bullet-shaped pens with click-and-brush applicators.

The brand's defining idea is the Human Colours concept — every shade rooted in colors that already exist in the body, from the red of blood to the tones of hair, skin, veins and freckles. Almost the entire range is liquid, blurring the line between lips, eyes and cheeks, and it built a devoted cult following for its editorial, artist-grade formulas. Faas died in 2020, but the brand endures as a niche, collectible favorite among makeup artists and beauty enthusiasts.
